** Update 02/11/20 **
The club will be taking part in the new Swim England’s Level X competition series. The first session will be held on Wednesday 4th November 2020 and will then continue as and when possible after the upcoming lockdown.
The events will be held in training sessions and the first distances in Phase 1 that are available to be swum will be, 50m and 100m of all strokes and 100m Individual Medley. Once these events have been swum, the club will then release details of the next phase of events and when these will be taking place during training sessions and which squads will be taking part.
The performance and county development squad will swim both 50m and 100m events of all strokes and the 100m Individual Medley. The development squad will swim 50m of all strokes. The club will upload our results to Swim England by the 24th November and the leaderboard will be published on the swimmingresults.org website on the 30th November. When you select the rankings tab, Level X is at the top of the section.
It has been decided that the Dolphins Squad will not be taking part in Level X but will instead have their own separate events in training sessions to enable the swimmers to have a chance to gain experience of swimming in races in a training session environment.
The club is allowed to have six timekeepers, one starter/referee and one judge officiating at each Level X session. If you are a timekeeper, please can you bring your own stopwatch if you have one. The club can supply a stopwatch if it is needed. If any of the club officials can help with these sessions, if you could contact Dianne Barrett at officials@thetforddolphins.club and please state which sessions you can help out at, that would be much appreciated.
